

Raymond Howard Williams, 85, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Heritage Center. He was born February 13, 1931, in Slaughters, KY., to the late John L. and Ressie L. (Barnett) Williams.
He retired from Inland Container after 40 years, and then worked part-time at Ryder and Expressway, moving vehicles between dealerships. Raymond was a member of Howell United Methodist Church where he was a member of the men’s club. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Parker.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bonnie M. Williams; daughters, Quona (Randy) Edwards and Rhonda (Tim) Minnette; granddaughters, Erin (Alex) Blythe and Taylor Minnette; great-granddaughter, Kylie Minnette; sister, Imogene (Harold) Barnhart, and many caring nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 7, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Pastor Kenny Palmer, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Raymond’s care givers: Wendy Head, Barbara Minor, home nurse Linda Wilson, and the staff at Heritage Center who cared for him during his stay.
