He graduated from Reitz High School and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Bob was a long-time employee of Ridgeways and Evansville Blueprint and an instructor for Dale Carnegie. He was a founding member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Anna Collier; his sister, Helen Hammer; his wife of 69 years, Mary Smith Collier; and his daughter, Robalye (Richard) Keith.
He is survived by his grandson, Ryon Keith, of Jeffersonville; and a niece and nephew, Linda (Rick) Hobbs and Greg Hammer.
The family would like to thank the staff of West River and Heart to Heart Hospice who cared for him.
Services for Bob will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11:30 am, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:30 am, at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN, with Pastor Lynn Marino officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
