Robert Thomas Fischer, 78, of Evansville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born December 11, 1937, in Posey County, Indiana, to the late Charles and Henrietta (Emge) Fischer.
He retired from Berry Plastics after 22 years and attended Good Shepherd Assembly of God Church.
Robert was preceded in death by his brother Charles, and sisters, Katherine and Charlotte.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ramona (Brickey) Fischer; children, Patricia (Don) Johnson and Genelle Ross; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeremy) Morphew, Josh (Rachel) Johnson, Larry (Julie) Whitlock and Justin (Rachel) Johnson; 7 great-grandchildren, and sister, Charlene Hamilton.
Funeral Services will be 1:00PM, Friday, October 7, 2016, at Alexander Memorial Park, Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Pastor Jeff Keenan and Senior Pastor Roger Poirot. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00AM to service time at the cemetery chapel.
