Robert R. Williams

He was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church, River City Corvair Club and TOTAC. Bob worked at Signal Delivery Service for 30 years. After retiring in 1993, Bob and Jean enjoyed traveling in their motorhome.

Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Carroll, Tom, Noel Jr. and Jerry.

Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean (Boyd) Williams; daughters, Melody (David) Spilker and Lisa (John) Andrews; son, Randall (Diane) Williams; grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley) Spilker, Karen (Martin) Spilker Howell, Jennifer, Valerie and Joe Williams; Jacob and Kyle Andrews; great-grandchildren, Arianna and Bernie Howell; sisters, Lois (Roger) Lamar and Phyllis Sue Scales; brother, Billy (Leona) Williams; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Scott Westerman, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Browning and the staff at OHA and the staff at Heritage Hospice, especially Kari and Jaime.
