Roger A. Krause

He was born in Riverside, CA to Harold and Irene Krause. He grew up in Pemberton, NJ and attended Pemberton Township High School. After moving to Evansville he worked as a Journeyman Model Maker for over 40 years at Whirlpool until his retirement.

Roger enjoyed many hobbies over the years including photography, SCUBA diving, and golfing. He was an avid fisherman who loved traveling to Alaska, the Florida Keys, and New Jersey in search of the next catch. Each August was spent back in New Jersey, where he enjoyed relaxing at the shore, rooting for the Phillies and catching up with family. He was well read and knowledgeable on many subjects including military history, political science, and economics.

He was the beloved father of Paul A. Krause (Heidi and her son Philip) of Evansville, IN; beloved brother of Diane Costello (David) of Beverly, NJ, and Lt. Col. Robert H. Krause (U.S. Air Force ret.) (Gloria) of Yorktown, VA; and dear uncle of Jonathan, Caroline, Amy, Katherine, Julie, and Jaylyn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service to be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.
