Ron retired as a purchasing manager for Therapy Associates and Vantage Oncology where he had worked for many years. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army and a member of American Legion Funkhouser Post and Disabled American Veterans. Ron loved spending time with his family and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eileen Korba; daughter, Rebecca Korba; son, Jeremy Korba (Jennifer); granddaughters, Julianna, Alyssa, and Gabrielle Korba; brother, Dr. Alvin Korba (Jan); sister, Michele Yarnell; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Gary Mazo, with military services at the cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue.
