Rovilla June Reynolds Ogg passed away December 25, 2020 after a very long hard battle with Alzheimer’s at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. Rovilla was born on December 28, 1928 to Martin and Elsie (Scherer) Reynolds in Stewartsville, Indiana.
Rovilla was a Secretary for Evansville Truck Company. She was married to the love of her life, Edward Ogg, for 69 years and 11 months. Her favorite past times were spending time with Ed, along with family and friends. She enjoyed square dancing, cruises, and vacations. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Elsie Reynolds, her husband, Edward, sisters, Iona Hanor, Marjorie Oglesby, and Jeanette Titzer, brothers, Ivan, Irvin, John, and Raymond Reynolds.
Rovilla is survived by four sons: Donald (Elaine Jordan) of Orlando, FL, Dennis of Evansville, Douglas (Elaine) of Wadesville, IN, David (Judy) of Owensboro, KY. Nine grandchildren, Christopher Ogg, Alexandra Sibol (Andrew), Nicki Ogg Stremming (Eric), Ashley Ogg, Krista Decker, Hannah Ogg, Riley Ogg, Ryan Ogg (Megan), and Jared Kessinger (Shannon) and 12 great grandchildren. Two sisters, Dorthy Miller of Wadesville, IN and Edna Stratton of Poseyville, IN and brother, Charles (Jane) Reynolds of Stewartsville, IN.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and Hospice for taking such great care of Rovilla in the last week. They would also like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the great care she has received over the last several years.
Private services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
