Sharon Dassell

She was a Golden Galaxy Manager for Tupperware and received numerous sales awards. Sharon also worked for Zenith Electronics for 10 years. She was a professional photographer for 40 years and owned Portraits by Sharon. Sharon was currently employed at Gabe’s Department Store. She loved the outdoors, traveling, shopping, boating, and deep sea fishing. Sharon loved her family very much.

Sharon is preceded in death by her former husband, Donald Claspell; son, Jeffery Claspell; daughter, Donna Claspell; grandchildren, Avery and Sydne; sister, Delores McDonald; and brother, Albert McDonald.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Weinstock (Keith), Deborah Claspell, Patricia Strader (Shawn), Sharon Chapp (John); sons, Donald Claspell (Anna), Michael Claspell, Pastor Steven Claspell ( Erin); 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Scarlet McDonald; and former husband, Michael Dassell.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by, Pastor Steven Claspell. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit 4-6 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday.
