

Sheila Ann Perkins, 44, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, after a heroic two-year battle with cancer. She was born December 11, 1972, in Evansville.
She cherished her friends, had a passion for life, was always smiling, and had a type A personality. She was vice-president of sales at Madstache Productions (My Classic Car). Sheila had a passion for her job and the people she worked with; they were like a second family. She loved to Karaoke and listen to live music from local musicians, but her favorite was the Dave Matthew’s Band. She was the world’s best dance mom. She enjoyed watching the Wheel of Fortune and loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean and Florida.
Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents; half-sisters, Hannah and MacKenzie Cater; father-in-law, Mike Perkins; and aunt, Monica Beuligmann.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, John “Chip” Perkins; daughter, Paige Nicole Perkins; parents, Jeff (Amy) Cater and Janie (Kevin) Martin; half-sisters, Camryn and Brooklyn Cater; mothers-in-law, Brenda (Mike) Williams and Geraldine Perkins; brother-in-law, Colt Perkins; uncle, Mike Fields; aunt, Melinda (Norm) Stevens; uncle, Mason (Mehrang) Fields; aunt, Michelle (Gary) McClain; uncle, John Beuligmann; aunts, Pam Rickenbaugh and Donna Geiger; uncles, Mike and Steve Cater; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Fr. Stephen Lintzenich. Friends may visit Wednesday from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with a Celebration of Life at 5:30 PM at Party Central, 120 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Evansville.
The family would like to thank Sheila's close friends for their constant love and support. They would also like to thank Dr. Tony Stevens, Kindred Hospice, and the nurses of the 6300 Unit at St. Mary’s for their professionalism and care.
