Steven R. Rickard

He was a Security Guard and Maintenance Supervisor at Casino Aztar, had worked at PrescoTech and owned Rickard Auto. He was a member of Bethel Temple Community Church and a 13 year veteran of the National Guard, having served in Kuwait and Iraq. Steven was very family oriented and loved fishing, drag racing at Chandler Motor Speedway and NASCAR.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, James E. Rickard; brothers, Gary Wright and Eddie Rickard; and sister, DeLarna Wright.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kelly Rickard; mother, Peggy Rickard; sons, Aaron Dayvolt and Randy Rickard; daughter, LeAndra Rickard, all of Evansville; brother, Robert Alan (Linda) Wright of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Debra (Donnie) Stapleton, Cheryl (James Thomas) Whitney, both of Henderson, KY; brothers, Mike (Terri) and Freddie (Karen) Rickard, both of Evansville; sisters, Linda (Lowell) Rickard Ours of Elberfeld and Tammy (John) Holmes of Kentucky; nieces and nephews.

Services will be 6:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Schwambach. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
