Steven Charles Springer

He was a truck driver for Poshard & Son Trucking. He was an avid fisherman, duck and goose hunter, and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Springer; and father-in-law, Ermine Kulenkamp.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Becky Springer of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Jamie (Shawn) Springer-Helton of Evansville, Melissa (John) Wallace of Petersburg, IN and Julie (Jon) Smith of Fort Eustis, VA; nine grandchildren; father, Charles L. Springer of Evansville; brother, Mark (Joy) Springer of Evansville; sister, Carol (Danny) Gries of Evansville; brothers-in-law, Terry (Diana) Kulenkamp of Evansville and Larry (Karen) Kulenkamp of Wadesville; sister-in-law, Bobbie (Mike) Roberson of Wadesville; mother-in-law, Shirley Kulenkamp; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Zoar United Church of Christ, 4600 Church Road, officiated by Rev. John Motz, with burial in Zoar United Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
