

Sue was a member of the American Baptist Church.
Sue was employed by Creasey Wholesale Company from 1960 to retiring in 1984 as Executive Secretary.
She was formerly of Henderson, Kentucky, graduated from Barret Manuel Training High School in 1948.
Sue liked to knit and crochet; was a member of the Olde Tyme Auto Club; and enjoyed being with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ray Hillenbrand; her parents, Lura and Owen Wood; sister, Jane Currie, and grandson, David Barton, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Mason and her husband, Albert and Janet Koester and her husband, Danny all of Evansville; grandchildren, Karla Bradley, Daniel Barton and his wife, Cary, and Kalah Muensterman and her husband, Ryan; great grandchildren, Dalan Bagby, Dilyne Barton, Mason Bradley and Trevor Barton; great great grandchild, Bayley Rae Muensterman and another great great granddaughter due in August; sisters, Frances Lithgoe of Baton Rouge, LA and Nina Jones of Henderson, KY; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Stratton, with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday, March 7, 2011, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Browning and staff of the Oncology Hematology Associates, the nurses and staff of VNA Plus, especially nurse, Debbie Nanney, and the nurses and staff of the John and Betty Charlier Hospice Center, Darcy Puckett, Doreen, Maryann, nurse’s aide, Diane for their care and support and to family and friends.
The family would like to especially thank Fran Stogsdill for her loving special care in her time of sickness.
