Susan Ann Cooper

Susan Ann "Susie Q" Cooper, age 43, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 2, 1981, in Evansville, Indiana, to Edward Thomas Cooper Jr. and Barbara Lynn (Ratliff) Cooper. Susan was a graduate of North Posey High School, Class of 2000. She embarked on a dedicated career with Posey County Rehab Services, where she poured her heart and soul into her work for 23 years, particularly in the Workshop area. She received the Justin Dart award at the INARF annual conference in 2008. Her impact extended beyond her workplace; in January 2015, Susan was also honored to be featured on the Easter Seals billboard. She is survived by her devoted parents, Edward and Barbara Cooper; her cherished younger brother, Ed Cooper, and his wife, Kristin; loving nieces, Madison and Brooklyn Cooper; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Life to honor Susan's memory will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, located at 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, Indiana. A time for open sharing will commence at 3:00 p.m., allowing friends and family to reminisce and celebrate Susan's life together.
