Terry graduated from Reitz High School. He was proud to have served in the Marines during Vietnam and was awarded two purple hearts. Terry enjoyed being a truck driver. He loved fishing trips to Kentucky Lake with his brothers.
Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Jr., David, and Mike Hurt; sister, Marty Slaughter.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beverly “Sue” Hurt; daughter, Kimberly Green (Kevin); son, Jasson Hurt (SuzAnn); grandchildren, Meagan SanPedro (Alex), and Skylar Williams (Lexi); great grandchildren, Elise SanPedro, Bella and Lorelai Williams; sisters, Carolyn Lammela and Beverly Pearl.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Alexander West Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
