Tom was a close friend for over 50 years and I will miss him. We had many competitive golf and ping pong games over the years. I enjoyed going over to his house watching cable TV and playing Atari video games when we were kids. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and I was a Dallas Cowboys fan so there were always arguments over which team was better. He was a good tennis player as well. We used to play nerf football and shoot baskets at his house. In later years, he always had keen insights about a variety of topics when we would talk on the phone. It’s a shame we lost him so soon, and I am sure I will think about him and the fond memories of our friendship frequently. My condolences to the family for your loss.

Tommy was a long time member of our foursome and was a great dude to be around. A keen knack for music trivia and just plain trivia too. I can say without reservation that anybody reading this KNOWS what I’m talking about. I witnessed one of his most memorable golf shots at Bent Creek in Jacksonville. We were playing “wolf” and it was my hole on a long par three. I hit my shot within 3 feet of the hole and immediately let out the WOLF HOWL. Tommy steps up and throws a TBD out to the right and draws it right on the flagstick for a hole-in-one. Even though that shot cost me a lot of money it was one of the best golf moments I’ve ever had. I’m gonna miss him, his wit and that great wry smile of his. We’ll meet on the first tee again someday Tommy. Rest in peace my friend.

Here is how golfing went with Tommy - he gets on the tee, he sets up, I say "nice ball Tom", he says, "Thanks" - THEN he swings - TBD Tom Baugh Draw in the middle of fairway - Good friend, golf buddy and roommate when we were both new to Florida. Thoughts and prayers with with his family.

I just got word of Tommy’s passing tonight and this is very sad news. He was a great friend and he straightened my golf swing numerous times.
He lived his life his way and by his standards. Not many people can claim that. I will sorely miss seeing that perfect golf swing he had. The TBD (Tom Baugh draw).
I’m sure he’s playing in Heaven with his Mom and Dad. I’ll see him down the road and hope I get some strokes.
Goodbye old friend, 56 is way too young ..

Tommy Baugh was a great childhood friend. Countless hours of tennis, bowling, and boardgames. My memory of Tom was that he always seemed joyful. I remember him playing with the kids at recess when he was a substitute teacher at Harper Elementary while the other teachers were huddled together looking angry. He was a great teacher. Tom will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Tom was a dear friend of my brother Tom and nearby neighbor Tom and we called them the 3 T's. He was always so friendly and witty and I know he was a golf pro and teacher par excellence. His sister Bobbie told me if ever they had a trouble student or class they would send Tom to fix it. My two kids had Tom or Mr. Baugh for their teacher at Hebron and they really loved him. I would like to send my deepest condolences to his dear family and would like to say hang on to Jesus and we will see him again. Praise God!!
