Vicki L. Campbell

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories. Born in Evansville, Indiana, Vicki was the daughter of Charles William Rogers and Vada Marie Fuller Rogers.

Vicki is survived by her brother Michael Charles Rogers (wife Doreen Rogers) of Bloomington IN. She was a loving wife to Kenneth Howard Campbell, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage until his passing in 2008.Vicki was a proud mother to Christine Marie Campbell (husband Sean Patrick) of Nashville TN, Jennifer Lynn Campbell, and Matthew Adam Campbell. She was also a dear aunt to many more nieces and nephews.

She graduated from North High School and West Side Beauty College, dedicating many years to her career as a hairdresser. Vicki found joy in art, music, and nature. She loved the beach, scenic country drives, and listening to jazz music, and an occasional shot of whiskey. She adored British TV mysteries, loved to laugh, and found comfort in simple pleasures, especially discussing politics on a daily basis with her sister in-law Dorothy.

Vicki’s life was enriched by the love of her lifelong friends—Debbie, Marilyn, Kathy, Mary Beth, and Thelma—as well as her dear in-laws, Dorothy Arrick, Becky and Gene Wilhoit, and Jewel and Dave Hulett.

Visitation will be Monday, March 31, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville IN 47711. Service and burial to follow. She will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery in Cynthiana, Indiana, beside her husband and parents.
