Walter James Harrison

Walter James Harrison, 51, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017. He was born March 13, 1966, in Evansville, IN. Walt enjoyed playing football at Reitz High School and was an avid IU and Notre Dame fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his animals, especially his goat, Chewie. Walt never met a stranger and was a hard worker. Above all else, he dearly loved his wife and his family. Walt is survived by his wife, Tamara “Tammy” (Wright) Harrison; sons, Jordan and Simon; parents, Frank and Barbara DeMuth; granddaughters, Aeris, Kylee and Savanna; grandson, Charles; stepson, Drew; siblings, Kevin Harrison, Jodi Gardner, Mark Harrison and Jeff Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin.
