Wanda Cage

Wanda was an in-home daycare provider for over 40 years and a member of Community Central Church. She was involved with the Special Olympics.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Cage, Sr., and daughter, Joy Cage.

She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Perry (John) of Washington, IN and Suzanne Wiandt (Ron) of Evansville, IN; son, Jamie Cage (Debbie) of Evansville, IN; 7 grandchildren, Valeri Cockerham (Scott), Emily Perry, Isaac Cage, Rebekah Cage (Cory), Philip Wiandt, Jacob Wiandt, and Rory Wiandt; 2 great-grandsons, Logan Garcia and Kaleb Cockerham; brother, Fred Vowell (Marta), Paducah, KY.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2021 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd., with Rev. Bobby Cox officiating. Entombment will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Center and Heritage Hospice for their wonderful care and friendship.
