She graduated from Lockyear Business School and then went to work at the Shipyard as a secretary during WWII. Wanda belonged to the DAR and considered herself a “Professional Volunteer.” She belonged to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Wanda truly loved her church, community, and country.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the love of her life, John F.W. Koch; son, John F.W. Koch, II; sisters, JoAnn Wilson (Roy), Alice Lou (Abe), Mary Ruth Monerief (Ted); and brother, Dalton G. Stone (Mary Jane).
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Jo Badger; grandchildren, John F.W. Koch, III, Ryan Koch (Loren), Richard Adam Badger (Tameka), Nicholas Badger (Lyndsie), and Jennifer Koch; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
