He graduated from F. J. Reitz High School and had been a Marine. He was retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections-Branchville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Susie (Bagby) Granderson; son, Victor Granderson; and four brothers.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 47 years Pamela (Peters) Granderson and four children, Kem (Rick) Curtis, Calhoun, KY, Anna Rust, Grandview, IN, Dora (Craig) Kuntz, Texas City, TX, and Even (Rachel) Granderson, Leopold, IN; siblings, Betty Montgomery, Stella (Herb) Weatherford, Donald (Margaret) Granderson of Evansville, Russell (Shirley) Granderson of Sollitude, IN; 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services at Alexander West Chapel.
