

He attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from Evansville College. He achieved a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Evansville. He was a Certified Public Accountant and member of the CEBS Society.
A current member of Christian Fellowship Church, Bill was also a charter member of North East Park Baptist Church and former member of Oakhill Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher at both churches. He enjoyed coaching church softball. Bill’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s activities. He also had a great love for animals.
Bill was a former employee of General Foods, Evansville Association for the Blind, Daughters of Charity and Sub Tech Environmental Services. Following his retirement, Bill worked part time for the Evansville Christian Life Center.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Madaline Whitmore; sons, Michael Whitmore (Kim) and David Whitmore (Jennifer); daughter, Stacey Donovan (Kirk); grandchildren, Adam Whitmore (Samantha), Lauren Whitmore, Spencer Whitmore, Matt Whitmore (Brittney), Nichole Whitmore, Krissie Whitmore, Caleb Frank, Courtney Frank, Audrey Frank, Olivia Frank, Lindsay Donovan, Kyle Donovan, Matt Donovan and Lesley Donovan; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Avery, Aiden and Mason.
