Andrew Mark Wood

Andy was born on November 27th, 1960 in Clarksburg, WV to Stacy and Joyce Wood. Andy grew up and went to school in Rochester, NY and Victor, NY where he attended Victor Central High School. Woody loved fishing on the Sound and recreational boating with friends. He honorably served his country as a Petty Officer in the US Navy off the coast of Iran and in the Pacific Fleet as a Welder and Hull Technician.

Andy is survived by his adult children Mathew Wood and Sheri Wood and grandson Aiden Wood of Mukilteo, WA; He is also survived by his girlfriend and life partner Cathy Oster of Everett, WA. Andy was pre-deceased by his mother, Joyce Wood and is survived by his father, T. Stacy Wood of Burlington, NC; brothers, Tom Wood of Charlotte, NC and Russ Wood of Burlington, NC; sisters, Natalie Bower of Julian, NC and Kim Card of Greensboro, NC and his former wife, Vera Wood of Mukilteo, WA.

There will be a gathering for friends and family at Purdy and Walters Funeral Home at 1702 Pacific Ave in Everett, WA on Saturday September 26th at 1:00 PM. A brief memorial service will also be held there at 2:00 PM. There will be a celebration of Andy's life following the memorial service to be held at 3426 Tulalip Ave. Everett WA. All are welcome.
