

Annette LaChance Goulet, of Yakima, died in Bothell, May 4, 2011, at the age of 98. She lived her entire life in Yakima and the Yakima Valley until she moved to Bothell in January of this year to be closer to family since her health was declining. She was born in Yakima on December 29, 1912 to Joseph and Lea LaChance, and attended St. Joseph Academy. She married Raymond Goulet in 1934 and moved to the Yakima Valley, where they lived until 1942, when they moved back to Yakima. She worked for many years as the secretary at St. Joseph Grade School. Upon retirement there, she continued community involvement by volunteering for the Yakima Diocese. She, also, worked part time at Schreiner Title into her nineties.
She is survived by a sister, May Morrison of Lincoln City, OR, children, Carol (Jack) Mahre of Bothell, Marv (Eleanor) Goulet of Portland, and Larry (Rose) Goulet of Everett, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
