Carrol D. Petersen "Pete"

Carrol D. Petersen “Pete”, 79, of Everett, WA was born June 24, 1933 in Huron, SD and peacefully passed away on September 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Pete was a lifetime resident of Washington and retired after a long career with the Washington State Ferry System. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sally, brother Clare Petersen (Charlotte), sister-in-law Delores Anderson (Ron), niece Sarah Beauchamp, three children, William Benson (Mary) of Green Bay, WI, Mike Petersen (Karen) of Snohomish, WA and Kathy Pranger (Brian) of Klickitat, WA, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Pete also leaves behind numerous close friends and fishing buddies. He never turned down the opportunity to help a friend in need. He will be greatly missed. At Pete’s request there will be a private family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County or a charity of your choice.
