John Douglas Cunningham

John Cunningham,71, went to be with his true love, Susan Cunningham, who preceded him in death in 2001. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Monday, November 4, 2013. John was born in Toledo Ohio on December 7, 1941 to Carlton and Ethel Cunningham. The family relocated to the Seattle Washington area in 1959. John graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961. He met Susan and they married in April 1969. They have two children, Tim and Kimberly. John was an auto enthusiast, rebuilding, drag racing, car shows, anything that had four wheels and an engine. Countless hours were spent working on cars for himself or someone else.

John is survived by his children, Tim (Violaine) Cunningham of Mukilteo and Kimberly (Arthur) Harton of Atlanta Georgia, 3 grandsons; Shay, Ayden and Levi, 1 brother; Carlton Cunningham of Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his sweetheart Susan, parents; Carlton and Ethel Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy funeral home in Everett.
