Kathy Lynn Dunn

Kathy Lynn Lielke Dunn passed away on August 8, 2012, surrounded by loved ones after a short but brave battle with Cancer. She was born on January 31, 1951 to Elmer and Peggy May Lielke. She grew up in Everett, WA, attending View Ridge Elementary, South Junior High School and Cascade High School.

Kathy worked at Home Depot for the past 10 years. She loved to travel, especially trips to Hawaii, Reno, Las Vegas and her dream trip to England. Kathy enjoyed treasure hunting for antiques, growing and nurturing flowers, camping with her family and friends, and above all, she loved to read. Her favorite author was Stephen King.

Kathy’s family included many cousins and so many close friends that were family to her. After raising her two sons, she was blessed with two beautiful granddaughters. She loved spending time with her girls. In July, she surprised them with a trip to Hawaii, which will leave a lifetime of memories.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father Elmer Lielke, mother Peggy May Wheeler, her sister Karen Lielke Henry, her brother Kurt Lielke, and her oldest son Kurtis Dunn.

She is survived by her son Jamie Dunn and granddaughters Mikayla and Nicole Dunn.

Kathy will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and all of her dear family and friends.
