Ken was born in Everett, WA and spent most of his life there. His mother Violet Scott and father Dale Scott preceded him in death. Ken has two sisters, Betty (Scott) Keller and Sharon (Scott) McClellan, and many nieces and nephews, whom he never forgot their birthdays or important events in their lives. He attended Lowell School, Cascade High School, and graduated from the University of Washington. His first job was as a forest fire lookout near Packwood. Since he wanted to help people, he joined the Peace Corps and went to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. From there he travelled to Afghanistan to collect wheat samples for the United Nations. Then on to Morocco and Saudi Arabia to teach their military pilots to speak the English language. When he returned to Everett he picked his favorite subject, stamp collecting, and worked at Odyssey Stamp and Coin Shop until his health began to decline. Ken will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Per his request, no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Purdy & Walters with Cassidy, Everett, 425-252-2191.
