

Mike graduated from Snohomish High School, the University of Washington and Seattle University.
He married Bette Jean Soucy in 1959 and they had four children. Mike had a successful career at Scott Paper Company/Kimberly Clark where he was well liked and respected. He retired in 1999.
Throughout Mike's life, he loved to learn. He took night classes during most of his career and taught economics at Cogswell College. In his retirement he took up stained glass, faceting jewelry, woodworking and remodeling his 1910 home.
Mike was a quiet man but when he spoke you wanted to listen. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to many places, he loved cooking, rock hounding and special times with the grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Donavan; and wife, Bette of 46 years; and eldest son, Mark.
He is survived by his three children, Mathew, Amanda and Melain; his mother, Anna Lee; two brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
We will miss you Papa.
