Marcia Fay Lannoye

Marcia Lannoye, age 83, passed away peacefully with her daughter and pastor by her side, on August 9, 2012. She joins family members that have passed on before her; her mother and father, husband Jim; son David, and sister Harriet.

Marcia was born and raised in Marinette, Wisconsin. She met Jim Lannoye and they were married in September of 1948. They started their family, raising their two sons in Marinette until 1954 when Jim transferred to Scott Paper Company in Everett. They built their home in Everett, where they had a daughter. She made many good friends through Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Central Lutheran Church, and Normanna Hall, where she was very involved as a Board Member, with the Ladies Club, and the Fjell Dancers. Marcia will be remembered for her beautiful smile, generosity, and as a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, son Steve and daughter-in-law Linda, daughter Mary Beth and son-in-law Greg, grandchildren, Justin, Char, Mitchell, great- granddaughter Kaylee, her sister Beverly Brandow and numerous nieces and nephews. Marcia will be forever missed, but not forgotten.

The family also wishes to express their heart-felt appreciation for the loving care and support of the staff at Emeritus Assisted Living in Snohomish.

Friends of Marcia are welcome to attend a closed casket visitation from 12 noon -5pm Thursday August 16, 2012 at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy. Her memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller, Everett, WA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Lutheran Church Hand Bell Choir.
