Margaret Ann Collins

1926 to July 2012

Margaret was born in Council Grove, KS on September 14, 1926 to William and Maude O’Donnell. She graduated from Council Grove High School and worked at the Farmer & Deans Bank in Council Grove. On January 31, 1947 she was married to Zeb Collins, who was in the Air Force at the time. In June of 1969 they moved from Wichita when Boeing transferred Zeb to the Everett Plant. Margaret was employed as Church Secretary for years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, where she was active in the Alter Society, enjoyed numerous friendships and had a special devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

She was preceded in death by her parents , her husband (May 1975), two sisters, Dee Hoier (Feb 1980) and Mary Rock (April 2006). She is survived by her daughter, Julie Hart (Doug), and four sons, Zeb W. Collins, Jr. (Marcia), Dan (Kim), Tim and Bill (Kelli), seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2617 Cedar, Everett, WA. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00. Reception following in the church hall.
