Margaret L. "Peggy" Neilsen

Margaret L. Neilsen, born August 3, 1923 in Everett, WA, passed away on December 24, 2013 at home in Everett, surrounded by many members of her loving family.

Peggy graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1941, and worked many jobs in the local area, retiring from The Boeing Company.

She enjoyed square and ballroom dancing, bowling and card parties, sewing and handwork. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the cabin at Lake Goodwin.

Peggy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Snohomish and Memorial Community Church in Everett.

She was preceded in death by her mother Laura L. Sigler; her siblings Ernest Sigler, Irving Sigler, Betty Herzog and Robert Sigler; and her husband of 69 years, Lawrence M. Neilsen.

She is survived by her daughters Joanne Wood (Jerry) of Grapeview, WA, Jackie Young (Dick) of Stanwood, WA, and Merilyn Parsons (Russ) of Las Vegas, NV; also 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service celebrating Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Memorial Community Church, 710 Pecks Drive, Everett.
