
Marjorie M. Moore, dedicated mother, grandmother, aunt and
friend to many passed away September 26, 2010 at the age of 86.
Marjorie was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 26, 1924, to Albert
Aaron and Edna (Vickery) Aaron. Marjorie was the youngest sibling to
Albert Jr, Morris, Lenora & Loreen. In the 30’s the family moved from
Nebraska to Maltby, WA, where she attended Snohomish High School.
Marjorie moved to Everett, where she raised her children at the family
home on Beverly Blvd, she later purchased a home in the Alderwood Manor
area of Lynnwood.
During WWII Marjorie worked at the Everett Ship Yard and at Paine Field
on P-51 and P-38 fighter planes. After the war she spent many years
working for Everett Pulp and Paper Company (Simpson-Lee) before it
closed down in the early 70’s. Marjorie then worked for and retired
from GTE in 1991.
Marjorie was strong, caring, loving, hard-working and a role model in
accepting and making the best of what life brings. She enjoyed many
memorable family camping trips, traveling adventures (Hawaii and Reno,
Nevada were two of her favorite locations), but most of all she enjoyed
spending time with her family and friends.
Marjorie leaves a son, Gerald (Patricia) Aaron; daughter, Diane
(Michael) Lanway; grandchildren, Kimberly (Kirk) Conway, Duane
(Sherelene) Aaron, and Nicholas Lanway; as well as many nieces, nephews
and friends that love her.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Cottages for their
wonderful care and assistance, and Hospice staff for their care during
the final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marjorie’s name to: the
Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org), the Everett Animal Shelter or charity of your choice.
