Mikell John Waner

Mikell John Waner, of Stanwood, WA, passed away on January 1, 2011. Mikell was born December 20, 1970 in Chandler, OK. He graduated from Union High School in Tulsa, OK in 1989. He is survived by: partner Amie Holbrook and their beautiful daughter Livia Brooke Waner; father and step-mother John and Shirley Waner of Kirkland, WA, mother Marilyn Schweizer of Humble, TX, brother and sister-in-law Scott and Donna Waner of Snohomish, WA, brother Ryan Schweizer of Independence, KS, sister Jamie Schweizer of Humble, TX and many other extended family members and good friends.

Mikell was blessed this last year with the gift of his daughter Livia, whom he dearly loved and cherished. Mikell was an extremely talented skier, loved golfing, and spending time in the outdoors. These were his lifelong passions. His out-going personality and great smile made a positive impact on everyone he came in contact with in his professional and personal life. Mikell will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Thursday January 6, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Purdy & Walters Funeral Home at 1702 Pacific Avenue in Everett, WA. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made, for the benefit of his daughter Livia, to the Mikell Waner Benevolent Fund at the Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU).
