

Neil W. Johnsrud age 92 passed away in Lynnwood, Washington on February 5, 2015.
He was born in Watford City, North Dakota on August 12, 1922 to Hilmar and Sofie ( Hagen) Johnsrud. The Johnsrud family was quite large and consisted of 11 siblings: Carl, Harold, Herman, Lowe, Oscar, Alga, Margaret, Ester, Ella, Helen, and Mavis.
Neil was a corporal in the US Army during World War II and was a lifetime member of the VFW belonged to the Edmonds Chapter.
Neil farmed, worked cattle and oil wells during his time in North Dakota and eventually moved to Puget Sound area was a machinist with Boeing for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Doris (Zingleman) Johnsrud, and three children, Ron, Becky and Roberta, 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
A Graveside Service was held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett.
