Raymond Merle Troupe

April 20, 1927-April 19, 2016

Ray was born in Akron, Iowa on April 20th, 1927 and passed away minutes before his 89th birthday on April 19th 2016 in Snohomish, Washington. He attended Snohomish High School and served in the United States Army stationed in South Korea following World War II.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn in 2014 and is survived by his children David Troupe (Carol), Randy Troupe (Nancy), Cheri Goit, and Cathy Hagglund and his brother-in-law Paul Lanz. He was the grandpa of Michelle, Nathanael, Charity, Elisabeth, Jacob, Jared, Stephen, Kevin, Rachael, Curtis, Matthew and the great grandpa of seven.

Ray was a faithful man who loved Jesus and his family with his whole heart. He exemplified being content in all circumstances and lived his life selflessly. His outrageous sense of humor and exceptional ability to make us laugh and feel loved will be missed but not forgotten.

Ray’s memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00pm at Bethany Christian Assembly in Everett, Washington.
