Theresa Marie Mortenson

Theresa Mortenson of Bothell, WA passed away on August 18, 2016 at the age of 81. She married the love of her life, Terry, in 1960 and together they raised two daughters and welcomed five wonderful grandchildren. She delighted in being a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and educational assistant. Theresa’s most treasured moments were those spent with family and friends – laughing, sharing and simply enjoying time together. She was thankful to have lived a blessed life with a loving family and amazing friends. Theresa will be deeply missed and she will be remembered with great love.

She is survived by her daughters Cheryl and Michelle (Andrew) and her grandchildren Cori (Kevin), Phillip, Tariq, and Patrick and her brother John. She was preceded in death by her husband Terry, her grandson Derrick, and her brother Fred.

Please join us for a funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 2316 180th St SE, Bothell, WA 98012 on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM. (viewing at 10:00 AM). We will then proceed to Holyrood Cemetery 205 Northeast 205th St, Shoreline, WA 98155. We will conclude with a picnic reception at picnic area A at the Nile Shriner’s County Club 6601 244th St SW, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 (across the street from Holyrood).
