

Bill Brown passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on September 21, 2016. He was born in Seattle Washington on December 9, 1942 to mother Ethel May (Loudenburg) Brown and father Walter Henry Brown. His surviving siblings are Walter, Montesano WA, Michael, Arlington WA, Denise, Colorado, Stephanie, Alaska and Gretchen, California.
He graduated from Everett High School in 1961. After graduating Bill served his country in the Army and was stationed in Germany. His work career was spent working as a tax appraiser for the Snohomish County Assessor’s Office. After retiring in June of 2002 he drove school bus for 7 years for the Snohomish School District.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family especially going to car shows with Chelsea. Kauai, Hawaii was a favorite vacation destination for the family. Bill loved sailing on his boat Stellar J. There were many happy times spent with family on the boat in the San Juan Islands.
He is survived by his wife, Gaye; daughter Chelsea Brown, step daughter Jennifer Smith, step son Billy VanMechelen; grandchilderen Christina VanMechelen, Zena Smith, Brendan VanMechelen, and Owen Denton.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Mountain View Community Church, 12033 Seattle Hill RD, Snohomish WA.
