Darren was born on May 10, 1965 in Chicago, IL to Charles Earl Euman, Sr. and Doris (Euman) Hoskin. Darren was the youngest of three sons born to this union.
Darren grew up on the Southside of Chicago, IL. Darren spent his early elementary school days at Fort Dearborn Elementary in Chicago, IL and attended Chicago Vocational High School. Darren developed numerous friendships throughout his lifetime.
Darren held various jobs throughout his employment career, however the one he seemed to love the most was his employment at George Jewell Catering…something about him being able to dress-up in tuxedos really excited him.
After Darren’s employment at George Jewell Catering (and a few jobs in-between), Darren accepted a position at Diversified Distribution Systems in 2005, where he met Barbara Parrish. Darren and Barbara instantaneously fell in love and were married in January 2007. During the six years they were married, the two of them were inseparable.
Darren began playing drums at an early age and had a huge admiration for the rock band Rush. Darren would spend numerous hours at a time sitting in his room, beating the drums to his favorite band’s music, driving everyone in the household and the neighborhood crazy. Moreover, Darren developed a passion for cooking, particularly grilling. Darren considered himself to be the best griller on this planet and often times would call others and boast about how good his barbeque would turn out, as if he were in competition.
Darren was a very soft-spoken person with a funny sense of humor. He had a beautiful smile that was quite infectious. Darren was very mild-mannered, easy to get along with and an absolute gentle man. Darren had a special way of drawing people to him. After meeting Darren, you would walk away with a lasting impression of the person Darren grew up to be. Darren had an insatiable love for spending quality time with his family.
Darren Euman, 47, departed this life on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL.
Darren was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Euman, Sr.
