

Willard accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Cloudy Creek Church in Delhi, Lousisana. He received his early education and graduated from Esther Toombs Elementary and High School in Delhi, Louisiana.
In the early 1960's, Willard transitioned to Southern California with hope to enrich his knowledge as well as his quality of life. He had a passion for photography. He enjoyed taking pictures of special occasions such as weddings and family gatherings. Another favorite pastime of Willard's was shopping at the swap meet. He truely enjoyed his weekends going to various swap meets finding priceless goods and making great deals. In 1973, Willard relocated and made Chicago, Illinois his home. He worked diligently in various occupations. For many years he was a worker with Greif Brothers Container.
On May 4, 2011, after a lengthy illness, Willard was called home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Wilbert; sister Velma Martin; and brother-in-law Thomas Hollins.
Fond memories of Willard will be cherished by: his sister Arie Hollins of Park Forest, IL; two brothers Alfred (Chris) Scott of Spokane, WA and Robert Scott of Park Forest, IL; brother-in-law Robert Martin of Calumet Park, IL; nieces Debbie Sledge and Kim (Charles) Johnson of Riverdale, IL; nephews Thurston Martin of Chicago and Craig (Beatrice) Martin of San Diego, CA; and a host of many other treasured family and friends.
