Betty Louise Newell

Betty Louise Newell age 76 of Fairborn died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born the daughter of James E. & Mary (Poulter) Roberts on October 21, 1939 in Xenia, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents. Betty is survived by her daughter Brenda (Don) Huff of Wilmington; sons Jim (Susan) Newell of Fairborn, and Mike (Staci Gabel) Newell of Fairborn; grandchildren Jody (Jason) Mangan, Melissa (Mike) Goodall, Ryan Newell, and Sophia Newell; great grandchildren Sumer, Jordan, Alisha, and Seth. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all those who love her. She attended Liberty Baptist Temple where she was baptized. In her free time she enjoyed reading, watching westerns, and tending to her flowers in the garden. Every year she enjoyed preparing a Thanksgiving feast for her family. Friends may call on Thursday, August 18, 2016 5PM – 7PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio 45324 where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10AM with Rev. Kermit Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
