Deborah Sue Stewart

Deborah “Debbie” Sue Stewart, age 63, of Fairborn, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on June 7, 1953 in Kokomo, Indiana. Debbie is preceded in death by the mother she loved dearly Elizabeth (Teel) Woodward. Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband and best friend of 36 years, Alan Stewart, her loving daughters Lindsey Stewart, Sarah (Mike) Goetz, and Kim (Nathan) Casto, her grandchildren Sam, Charlotte, and Sophie, her father Vincent “Woody” Woodward (Polly Kneply), sisters Joyce Hoban and Jill (John) Moss, her brother Jack Woodward, and many special friends. She enjoyed her career as an optician for 30 years. She was a member of Rona Community Church. Debbie was a veracious reader. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling with her family extensively across the U.S.A., especially the ocean and the mountains. Most of all, Debbie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who love her.
