Elma "Cotton" Morgan

MORGAN, Elma “Cotton”, our beloved mother, went to be with Jesus on October 24, 2017. She was born June 14th, 1933 at home in Rockhouse, Paintsville, KY. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James H. Morgan with whom she shared 46 years; her loving mother, Hazel Preston Lemaster; father, Arthur “Buck” Preston; her 3 brothers, Glen Preston, Johnny Preston and Leonard Preston and her 3 sisters, Ruby Williams, Avis “Carol” Hensley and Sylvia “Sue” Jenkins. She is survived by one brother and one sister, Lloyd “Buddy” Lemaster and Corena Stephens. Cotton also leaves behind her 4 daughters, Deborah (James) Rosebrough, Rhonda (Richard) Baer, Teresa (Don) Beck and Lisa (Ed) Oliver; grandchildren, James Rosebrough Jr., Richawna Bowling, Jason Rosebrough, Roxann Baer, Cheryl Ison, Crystal Colaric, Sabrina Justice, Danielle Shoemaker and Richard “Ricky” Baer II and 10 great grandchildren, Noah, Andrew, Garrett, Clayton, Antonio, Gabriel, James Morgan, Ella, Taylor and Orion. Cotton enjoyed crocheting, baking, playing cards, porcelain dolls and loved Christmas but most of all she cherished being surrounded by family and loved the company of good friends. She was a happy, smart, kind and fun loving person who will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm Friday, October 27th, 2017 at Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, OH. Funeral service will be at 10am, Saturday, October 28th at the funeral home with burial to follow at Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Rd, Fairborn, OH. A special thank you to Grace Hospice for the excellent care she was given, especially to nurse, Cheryl Ward; nurse aid Pat Holley and director Megan Reynolds.
