

Lula “Faye” (Taylor) Edmiston age 91 of Fairborn died on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Faye was born the daughter to Jessie B. & Alice (Dotson) Taylor on February 15, 1924 in Coleman, Kentucky (Pike County). She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ilas Hurley, daughter Barbara Hurley, son Willis Hurley, and sister Mae Keesee. Faye is survived by her daughter Madelyn K. (Phillip) Harris, and son William B. (Maria) Edmiston; grandchildren Sherry (Chris) Mack, Tony Hurley, Christopher Hurley, Aaron K. Harris, Rachel K. (Brent) Hayden, William S. Edmiston, and Mark T. Edmiston; great grandchildren Daniel, Sarah, Jessika, Paige, Leesa, Nathan Cooper, and Julia Claire; brothers Gether Taylor, and Linton Taylor; sisters Christine Burroughs, and Lorraine Scott. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Faye was a long - time active member of the Fairborn Senior Citizens Center, and was known for her oil paintings and the hair salon she owned and operated from her home. Faye attended both Victory Temple (Fairborn Church of God) and Fairborn First Baptist Church. Friends may call in Burcham Jennings Funeral Home 119 E. Main St Fairborn, Ohio Tuesday March 3, 2015 10AM -11AM where funeral services will be held at 11AM with Rev. Mike White officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
