Harvey "Butch" Vernon Smart

SMART, Harvey “Butch”, age 72 of Fairborn, OH passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Butch leaves behind his family; daughters, Dawn F. Sheets (Dusty) and Heidi R. Smart of West Lebanon, IN; 3 grandchildren: Cameron M. Sheets, Tabitha D. Sheets, and Chloe F. Sheets, also of West Lebanon, IN; and his sister, L. Sue (Daniel) Smart Defassio of Sun City West, AZ; as well as many nieces, nephews, and their children. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Edward V. and Esther M. (Bower) Smart; and 2 sisters, Bonnie May Smart and Pamela M. Smart Reed. Butch also leaves behind his longtime partner of 32 years, Betty Anne Rose of Fairborn, OH; 2 stepdaughters, Annrenay Risner of Findlay, OH, and Dessray Rose of Wayland, MI; and 2 grandchildren, Sean Risner and Kayla Risner. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11AM at the Dayton National Cemetery 4400 W. 3rd St. Dayton, Ohio 45417.
