

Johnny "John" G Pacheco age 71, of Fairborn passed away on July 19, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 3, 1952 in Albuquerque, NM, to the late Narciso and Lucilla (nee: Gutierrez) Pacheco.
Amongst his family and friends, Johnny was a well known jokester with a great sense of humor. He brought life and laughter to every room and was a pillar of strength to his family. Through strong dedication, hard work, and sacrifice, Johnny consistently provided for his family, often putting their needs before his own. He was known for texting delicious recipe ideas, weather and traffic updates, and quick “I love you’s” to his family. He spent much of his time watching over his family and checking in on their shared Google Locations, making sure they arrived to destinations safely. Johnny enjoyed pastimes such as watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, drinking coffee with and dancing with his wife, eating his wife’s cooking, and giving people a jokingly hard-time. He is so deeply loved and missed by his friends and family.
Johnny is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Deborah, and is survived by his loving children, Tonya Martin (Chris), Belinda "Kitty" Barkhurst (Brad), and John Pacheco (Ivy); his 6 cherished grandchildren, Lauren (Andrew), Easton, Christopher, Caleb, Skylar, and Amelia; his caring sister Andra Compton (Danny); and his niece Stacy Neal (David) and great niece, Jayde.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Burcham Tobias Funeral Home with calling hours to begin after 11am. He will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be John Pacheco, Chris Martin, Brad Barkhurst, Easton and Christopher Martin, Caleb Barkhurst, and Andrew Aten.
