Joyce Ann King

Joyce Ann King, age 74, of Xenia, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born the daughter of Stormy B. & Hazel (Barnett) Howell in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years Shelby Marlin King and a grandson Nathan. Joyce is survived by her children and spouses, Shari Lynn (Doug) Davidson, Timothy Marlin (Pam) King, Tamara Jill (Ernie) Hudson, Kerri Michele King and Wendi Merideth (Gregg) Parkman, her sister and brother-in-law Betty & Don York, father-in-law and mother-in-law Shelby & Dorothy King, 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and best friend Jackie Parkman. Joyce was a graduate of Beavercreek High School. She attended Miami Jacobs Junior College, and retired from Montgomery County. She was a longtime member of the Xenia Church of the Nazarene. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and daughter-in-law. She will be missed by all who love her.

Friends may call in the Xenia Church of the Nazarene, 1204 W. Second St. Xenia, Ohio 45385 on Friday, February 19, 2016 11AM to 1PM where funeral services will be held at 1PM. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joyce’s memory to Hospice of Dayton.
