Loretta Peace Chapman, age 91, of Fairborn died on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Village at the Greene. She was born the daughter of Henry & Julia (Fuson) Peace on February 24, 1924 in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Chapman, son Wade Chapman, and 9 brothers and sisters. Loretta is survived by her daughter Gloria Miller, sons Wally Chapman and John Chapman, grandchildren Sharon Chrisman, Lee Huff, and Ben Chapman, 6 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Loretta was a founding member of the Ladies of the VFW Auxiliary and past president. She chaired the Poppy project and served as Queen of the Poppy, participating in the Fairborn 4th of July parade numerous times. She was also a member of the American Legion 526. Loretta enjoyed bingo and loved to dance. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who love her.
