Ray Barker

Ray Barker age 82 of Fairborn died on Monday January 5, 2015. He was born the son of Harrison & Rissie (Lewis) Barker on March 10, 1932 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Billie Barker. He is survived his daughters Patricia Ann Shaver – Barker of Fairborn, Barbara (Tom) Pennington of Fairborn, and Melissa (Rob) Henderson of Fairborn; son Allen Ray (Jeannie Thurman) Barker of Fairborn; grandchildren Wendy, Jason, Tommy Jr., Chase, Jared, Paige, Sydney, Robbie, and Dustin; great grandchildren Jaci, Devin, Austin, Kaitlyn, Natalie, and Jackson; 2 future grandson in laws Josh Whited, Rob Landon, and his children Zach, Trevor, Mason, and Blake. Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all those who love him. Ray worked for Burger Iron for over 40 years; he made many lasting friendships there through the years. During his free time, Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, and most of all spending time with his family. Friends may call on Wednesday January 7, 2015 5PM-7PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio 45324, where funeral services will be held on Thursday January 8, 2015 at 10AM with Pastor Jenna Henderson & Pastor Paul Perdue officiating.
