Ruth Snouffer

Ruth Frances (Bowles) Snouffer, 78. found her way to heaven on April 23, 2013 at Kettering medical center following a brief illness. Ruth was born January 4,1935 in East Liberty Ohio to Alba and Jesse Bowles. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lodene Wion and infant brother Johnny Bowles. She married the love of her life on August 11,1952. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald Snouffer, her children Lizabeth (Mark) Dilley, D. Randolph (Valorie) Snouffer, Timothy Snouffer and Paula (Joe) Mercer, 7 grandchildren Jennifer, Adam, Jessica, Andrew, Jacob, TJ, and Katie, step grand children Jason, Jessie, Cammie, Chris, and Heather and 8 great grandchildren and many friends. Ruth was a member of the FOE 2641 Wright Aerie Woman's Auxiliary, FOE 2641 Wright Aerie Ritual Team and Red Hat Crimson Divettes. She loved to cook, work in her garden, read, and have family and friends over for get togethers. She loved to collect recipes. A celebration of her life will be held at the Fairborn Eagles 509 Sports St Fairborn Ohio, On Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 5:30 pm. We will have the family and friends get together that she enjoyed. Bring your favorite covered dish and share your memories. To honor Ruth we would like to put together a recipe book. Please bring your written recipes and memories to add to the book.
