Virginia Sturm Crawford

Virginia S. Crawford age 87 of Yellow Springs formerly of Enon passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015. She was born the daughter of John & Gustena (Bleich) Sturm on August 8, 1928 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, husband James P. Crawford Ret. Lt. Colonel, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Virginia is survived by 4 sons Stephen (Ellen) Crawford of Columbus, James P. (Dinah) Crawford of Casstown, Carl Scott (Nancy) Crawford of Mt. Vernon, and Mark (Amy) Crawford of Yellow Springs, grandchildren Caleb, Travis, Jacob, Nicole, Julie, Kristen, Matthew, Sam, and Grant; and 6 great grandchildren. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Virginia was a proud member of the Enon Historical Society, and enjoyed spending time with the friends she made at the Enon Garden Club. Virginia was a long time member of the Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church. Friends may call on Monday, December 28, 2015 10AM to 11AM at Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church, 954 N. Maple Ave Fairborn, Ohio 45324. A memorial service will follow at 11AM with Rev. Thomas A. Nevels Celebrant. Inurnment will be held at Enon Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
